A Bi-level CPAP-machine for the treatment of sleep apnea uses two pressure settings to keep an airway open – one for inhaling and one for exhaling.

What is more, is that this machine uses an auto-adjusting algorithm to deliver the pressure according to the user's recommended needs. Typically, patients of the AirCurve 10V Auto Bi-level machine need more significant pressure support while sleeping.

What You Should Know

- The machine is used for the treatment of disruptive sleep apnea. The AirCurve 10V automatically stabilize the upper airway and can also detect information that can be used to monitor problematic central sleep apnea patients. Every person is unique, and some physicians need to follow their patients on a case-by-case basis.

- A natural breathing experience. The AirCurve 10V Auto uses an easy-breathe waveform and an auto-set algorithm that takes the patient’s breathing effort into account. This is not always true for other machines.

It is essential that a patient's actual breathing is monitored, as it varies throughout a sleep cycle. Designed for patients with normal lung function, the AirCurve 10V Auto makes it easier for patients to breathe according to their own specialized needs.

-The HumidAir Heated Humidifier can be adjusted to add more moisture to the airstream, with '1' being the lowest humidification level and '8' being the highest.

It is also possible to turn off this feature entirely or set it to its ‘auto’ function where it self-adjusts according to the temperature of the room.

Special Features

- V-sync leak management: The machine continually monitors its own pressure to ensure that therapy is delivered continuously throughout the night.

- Quiet motor and ambient light sensor: The AirCurve 10V Auto runs quietly so that it won't disturb your bed partner.  Its ambient light sensor adjusts to how bright the room is for additional comfort and will turn off automatically when not in use. 

- More oxygen when needed: The AirCurve 10 V Auto Bi-Level is compatible with up to 15 liters/min of supplemental oxygen in CPAP mode and 4 liters/minute in Auto Mode.
